FRP Grating Install
What are the methods of installing FRP grating? FRP grating can be widely used in petroleum, chemical electronics, electric power, paper industry, printing and dyeing, electroplating, marine exploration, sewage treatment and other industries. Today, I will introduce the installation methods of trench installation, staircase installation and platform installation for three different applications.
FRP grating installation method:
– Trench installation
- Refer to the size of the single grid grid, adjust the size of the trench as much as possible, so that the edge of the grid diameter is closed after cutting, maintain the integrity of the grid, and ensure the installation effect.
- It is recommended that the trench span size be designed at about 30 cm, which can well protect the grid and prolong the service life of the FRP grid. It is recommended that the design size of the support beam be about 20 cm, and the trench depth be about 20-30 cm. The distance from the ground is based on the thickness of the FRP grating, which can be level with the ground.
-Stair installation
- The grille step should be installed in the step frame, and the frame can be used as a glass fiber reinforced plastic frame or other frames.
- Each corner of the grille step is fixed with 2 M-type fasteners.
-Platform installation
- The supporting edge of the grid should have at least 40mm wide support on the steel beam, the installation gap between the grid and the grid is 6mm, and the installation gap between the grid and the concrete is 10mm.
- M-shaped or L-shaped clamps should be used to fix the grid and the supporting steel beams, with at least 4 pieces for each piece, and C-shaped clamps should be used to connect the sides of two adjacent non-supporting grids, every 1.8m Use at least 1 for the long center.
