1.The production process is different

FRP pultrusion profiles use the pultrusion process, and the forming of the product mainly depends on the pulling force of the equipment. The FRP molded profiles use the molding process, and the molding of the product depends on the pressure of the equipment.

2.Use different raw materials

The raw materials used for pultrusion profiles are unsaturated resin, glass fiber yarn, glass fiber mat, and stone powder; the raw materials used for molded profiles are unsaturated resin, glass fiber mat, and stone powder. The main difference between the two is the type of glass fiber material. The former uses thin and long continuous glass fiber yarn, while the latter uses chopped glass fiber material.

3.Different performance characteristics

The performance characteristics of pultruded profiles are mainly reflected in good toughness, high anti-corrosion performance, and excellent tensile strength; while the performance characteristics of molded profiles are mainly strong bearing capacity, high compression resistance, and strong impact resistance.

Although there are certain differences between the two type gratings, the common point between FRP pultruded grating and molded grating is that both are made of FRP as raw materials. Both have very outstanding anti-corrosion performance, and good aging resistance and long service life.
